Is there a free plan?
Yes — the Free plan includes 5,000 events/month, one project and a team member, with no credit card required. It’s enough to monitor a side-project or trial jentry in production.
How is jentry priced compared to Sentry?
jentry uses simple flat monthly tiers (Free, $29 Team, $99 Business). There are no per-seat charges and no metered event overages, so a noisy deploy or a bot storm won’t produce a surprise bill.
What counts as an “event”?
An event is one error or transaction your apps send to jentry. Your plan’s monthly event quota covers them; jentry sheds beyond your quota rather than billing you for it.
Can I migrate from Sentry without changing my code?
Yes. jentry works with the unmodified Sentry SDKs — point your existing DSN at jentry (change only the host) and your events stream in. See the migration guide.
What happens if I exceed my plan’s events?
jentry applies spike protection and your monthly quota; excess events are dropped rather than charged. Upgrade a tier any time for more headroom and longer retention.
Do you offer longer data retention?
Retention scales with the plan: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Team, and 90 days on Business.
